Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
If the participant (student) does not cancel more than 48 hours in advance of the course, the deposit for the course, paid in Calendly, will be forfeited.
If a student does not arrive or communicate with the instructor within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time of the course, they will be considered a no-call no-show. In the event of a no-call no-show by the student, the deposit and any paid course fees are forfeited by the student. There will be no rescheduling the course without the student paying all required fees (course and scheduling feed) again.
***It is the student’s responsibility to initiate communication if they will be late or unable to make it to the class. The instructor will not be responsible for getting into contact with students who do not show up or who are tardy.
In the case that the student has already paid in full but cancels within 48 hours of the course, the deposit paid at scheduling will be forfeited and the remainder of the course fee can be refunded OR the student may reschedule the course for another scheduling fee (will not have to pay the course fee again). If the course is rescheduled, it cannot then be canceled for any refund at a later date.
If a student arrives for the scheduled skills portion of the course and has not paid all fees in full, class will be cancelled. This cancellation will be subject to the terms of the no-call no show portion of the cancellation policy. No refund of any fees paid will be provided, and the course will not be rescheduled.
Instructors have the right to cancel the class, ask students to leave the class, or refuse students certification for: disrespectful communications, disruptive behaviors, lack of communication, talking on their phones/texting during class, not participating in the learning, or any other behavior-related reasons they see fit. If a student is asked to leave class, they will not be provided any refund and they will fall under the policy of course cancellation with less than 48 hours of notice.
This does not happen often. However, we will provide students with respect, regardless of age, gender, nationality, color, religious background, sexual orientation, etc. We also expect to be treated with respect.
Please communicate early and often if there are any extenuating circumstances barring your attendance of the course (illness, accident, etc). We can try work together to ensure that you get certified!
